Today's Mini-Bio is on Ella Fitzgerald


      Ella Jane Fitzgerald was born on April 25th, 1917 and died on June 15th, 1996. She was known by many names such as the Queen of Jazz, The First Lady Of Song, and also Lady Ella. During Ella's career she was a Jazz singer who worked with many famous artist such as Duke Ellington and many others. Ella Fitzgerald paved the way for many African-American artist that we hear to this very day such as Beyonce, Madonna, Cher, Whitney Houston and many many others. She is a very great icon and because of her success we thank her.
