Cassius Marcellus Clay, Jr. was born on January 17th 1942. When Cassius became older he changed his name to Muhammad Ali. Ali made his mark in boxing. He became a gold medalist when he won in the Olympics. I feel that a lot of people need African American role models to look up to and this man is one of them!
