Today's Mini Bio is on W.E.B DuBois

William Edward Burghardt was born on February 23rd,1868. He became a scientist and was very active in the civil rights movement. He was one of the first African-Americans to even think about science. He was also an author of many best seller books. Because of him we have many different African-American people who become scientist and also authors. And did I mention he was apart of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People also know as the NAACP.
