Steven Rodney McQueen was born on October 9th, 1969 in London, England. He is being nominated for the best director making him the first African-American director to win an Oscar. McQueen has made an impact in so many people lives around the world with his astounding movie 12 Years A Slave. We don't know if McQueen will make history or not, but we are rooting for him!
